John's Visit - Dirtside2 Game
(March, 2005) A friend, John, returned home to visit his family and while here he looked us up for a game of Dirtside2. We opted for a 15 000 point encounter battle, and it was a close game with a win for John. John started by pushing forward and grabbing objectives, while I pushed hard down one flank trying to break into his rear. During the course of this attack I managed to kill John's battlegroup commander. By John's count I killed or damaged 14 out of 16 of his tanks by the end of the game. But he in turn used his artillery and power armour (lifted in by VTOLs under heavy fire from my side) to hammer my infantry.
